TAFE Western

TAFE Western Rebranding
When TAFE Western asked us to unite their 24 campuses under the one brand, we used the opportunity not only to develop a new brand but to create a campaign that would inspire people to think about what they want from life. Our phase-one creative asked open-ended questions that encouraged community responses about wants, dreams and needs, and featured energetic colour blocking and people shots. The launch campaign has helped position the newly formed TAFE Western as an engaging, progressive and relevant education and training brand.
Waverley Council

My Bondi Summer 2009-10
We took a stroll down memory lane by bringing to life the nostalgic essence of Bondi once more for Waverly Council. Our inspiration for the My Bondi Summer campaign included the textures and colours of wooden surfboards, the Woody Wagon and Bondi’s rich, golden sunsets.

My Bondi Summer Lovin' 2008-09
Our brief was to showcase Bondi in all its glory. The campaign’s central theme, Summer Lovin’, immediately opened up loads of design opportunities. We couldn’t resist going retro by injecting a decidedly 70’s flavour. We created visuals that appealed to both transient backpackers and nostalgic baby boomers.

Bondi Bohemia Winter Festival 2008
How to capture Bondi’s winter feel? First we hit the streets, photographing its vibrant art and street art culture. Then we paired our favourites with quotes from famous art, literature and music celebrities. The campaign, Bondi Bohemia, was about discovering and appreciating the vibrancy and colour of unexpected places in unexpected times, giving people an insight to what lies beneath Bondi’s golden surface.
Public Trustee NSW

Will Making Campaign
As you can probably tell, our designers loved working on this project. Public Trustee NSW wanted to get the word out about making a Will and why it pays to have a plan before you shuffle off this mortal coil. We decided to turn this heavy-hearted subject on its head to achieve cut-through. We devised the campaign idea, sourced and selected the images, and wrote all headlines.
Low Energy Supplies and Services

Live Green with LESS Campaign
Low Energy Supplies and Services help change people’s attitudes to energy and water through public awareness programs. We do all their print-based campaigns from concept through to photography and final production. This concept takes everyday people (possibly even unexpected people) and gives them an environmentalist tag. The campaign drives home the message (in a fun and aspirational kind of way) that you don’t have to be a dreadlocked extremist to live green.

One Giant Leap Campaign
Another LESS campaign, this time focussing on what one teeny tiny energy-saving light bulb can do for the planet. We cast the models, directed the photo shoot and worked our design magic to create a bold campaign showing that everyday people can (and do) make a difference.
Manly Council

Fight Global Warming at Home Campaign
The citizens of Manly and Manly Council needed help with greenhouse gas – namely, it was time to reduce emissions and change consumer behaviour. In walked Metro and out came Manly-Man, a hard-working warrior of the people and planet who fought the evil empire of Global Warming. WHAM! POW! This comic-style campaign proved so successful it was extended to other Council operations in the Manly local government area.
